WALTON:
The Everton Football club is located in this district and there
is great rivalry between its supporters and Liverpool’s supporters.
The Football club is found at Goodison Park. This club recently
sold a local player by the name of Wayne Rooney to Manchester United
for almost £24 million pounds. This is proof of Everton’s
great youth soccer program and its future is looking very bright
indeed. Why not go down to Goodison Park for a tour or you should
arrange to go to a soccer game. After the game why not go for a
pint in one of the many pubs down on the County Road which would
be heaving with football fans. Around this area is Reef Revellers
Diving Centre if one is in the mood for diving at 5.
WOOLTON:
The area has lots of listed buildings and a beautiful quaint village,
with a busy and bustling shopping centre with a great selection
of pubs and restaurants. Woolton Redbourne Hotel is located on the
outskirts of this village. Clarke’s Gardens also are very
entertaining for the children to play in as there is a mini farm
there with rabbits, geese, goats, ponies and a great park. Inside
the park there is also a famous house known as Allerton Hall, which
was a beautiful old building that was recently transformed into
a charming restaurant and pub.
