Drinking always took precedence but now eating out is making great
strides and with such a great variety of foods and restaurants available,
people are changing their habits of goint out for a half dozen pints
and then queueing up for their nightly bag of chips. The St. Petersburg
Dining Club is an authoritative Russian themed restaurant and is
not far from the town centre and offers a top class eating and drinking
encounter.
The posh Lark Lane area, the restaurant L'Alouette has great french
dining and there is also the Que Pasa Cantina which serves meals
styled on the tradions of food from South America. Greek restuarants
such as Romios and Akis Greek Taverna offers a lively and fun place
to dine.
One of the best Indian restaurants is the Passage to India which
is situated on Bold Street, as well as the Musapir restaurant also
on Bold street. Valparaiso restaurant on Hardman street has South
American steaks, while also there is the Italian Bistro and Antonis
Cypriot Restaurant. On the way into Chinatown on Berry street is
Bijou and Ziba.
The EstEstEst Italian restaurant on Albert Dock is popular along
with What’s Cooking. On the quayside is the Blue Bar and Grill
which is always packed, and down the quay is Mr Ms Waterside restaurant
which is famous for its seafood. The Pump House and The trendy Est
Bar as well as the Bar Monaco and The Blue are very popular where
you can get a few pints in while waiting for your dinner. The montage
over the docklands is lovely on summer evenings.
Around the business area of town, call into the Balti house, the
Bucca Di Bacco, Ta Tasco and De Coubertinis are great places for
eating. The Life Cafe and the Qube are popular here and there is
basically something for everyone here in Liverpool. While we can
give you a brief glimpse into the dining treasures that are there
to be enjoyed in Liverpool, there is a vast array of bars and restaurants
which also offer high quality produce.
