Liverpool is a great city to go shopping with your credit card and
although there is such a great variety of shops and department stores,
the centre is compact enough for one to view all the shops in the
elegant shopping area. Cavern Walks and Clayton Square are the two
indoor Shopping centres and the streets around are pedestrianised.
These shopping centres have a huge range of stores. They also cater
for the designer outlets.
The bars and nightlife in the city centre is electric and the choice
of venues is magic. The people of Liverpool really know how to get
down and party. The Cavern Quarter near enough from Mathew Street
has a few great restaurants and pubs. The choice of food in the
city’s restaurants can range from Portuguese, Greek, Italian,
Spanish, Chinese, Russian, as well as local cuisine to keep hunger
at bay. There is a dish to suit every palate.
There is fine architecture in this cultural city and is on view
throughout the city centre. St. Georges Hall, the Museum, The Blue
Coat Centre as well as the two Cathedrals are fine examples of what
this glorious city has to offer. With ample music venues, comedy
clubs, and theatres all within walking distance, the words culture
and entertainment spring to mind in Liverpool. Not forgetting Albert
Dock which is a major attraction on the waterfront and is worth
seeing and its not too far from the shopping area as well as the
Mersey Ferries and the tunnels.
